SVG Tools
SVG is the vector image format of the web: logos, icons and illustrations that stay sharp at any size. Convert SVG files to PNG, JPG, WebP or ICO, view and inspect them, and clean them up – all in your browser.

What is SVG?
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) describes an image as shapes rather than pixels: paths, circles, rectangles, text, gradients and filters written as XML. Because the browser draws those shapes at whatever size is needed, an SVG logo looks crisp on a phone, a 4K monitor and a printed poster from the same small file. SVG is the usual format for icons, logos, charts and illustrations exported from Figma, Illustrator or Inkscape.
Typical tasks
The most common job is turning an SVG into a raster image. Many places do not accept SVG – office documents, some social networks, e-mail templates, app stores and older software – so you need a PNG or JPG at a precise size, often with a transparent background. Favicons and Windows icons need an ICO file with several sizes inside. The SVG to PNG converter handles all of this: scale from 1× to 8× or an exact width, transparent or solid background, PNG, JPG, WebP or ICO output, and batches of files into one ZIP.
Before converting, it often pays to look inside the file. The SVG Viewer shows the drawing with zoom, background and grid options, lists every element, reports size and viewBox, and lets you edit the code with a live preview. Its SVGO cleanup removes editor metadata and redundant attributes so the file gets smaller – useful before you put an icon on a website.
When people search for an “SVG converter” they sometimes mean the reverse direction: turning a PNG or JPG into an SVG. That is image tracing, and it is not available on this site; the tools here work with images that are already SVG.
Private by design
SVG files are processed entirely in your browser. Rendering uses the browser’s own engine or a WebAssembly renderer loaded from this site, and downloads are created on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so client logos and unreleased artwork stay private. Because an SVG can contain scripts, every file is sanitized before it is displayed: scripts, event handlers and references to other servers are removed, so opening an SVG from an unknown source is safe.
FAQ
Is this SVG converter free and does it work online?
Yes. Open the page in any modern browser and convert SVG to PNG, JPG, WebP or ICO without an account. The conversion runs on your device, so files are never uploaded.
Can I convert PNG or JPG to SVG here?
No. These tools convert from SVG to raster formats. Turning a photo or a PNG into vector paths (tracing) is a different task that this site does not offer.
How do I keep a transparent background?
In the SVG to PNG converter leave the background on Transparent and choose PNG or WebP. JPG has no transparency, so it always gets a solid background.
Can I change the colors of an SVG?
Open the file in the SVG Viewer and edit the fill and stroke values in the code panel; the preview updates as you type. Then download the SVG or send it to the PNG converter.
Can I use the files for Cricut or other cutting machines?
Cricut Design Space imports SVG as well as PNG and JPG. You can preview and clean up the SVG here before importing it, or export a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background.
How many files can I convert at once?
The SVG to PNG converter takes up to 200 files of up to 20 MB each in one batch and packs the results into a ZIP archive.
